Today is the day. Election day in Trey Grayson's former state of Massachusetts, where he was a leader and activist in the Democratic Party.
Only today, Conservative Scott Brown is in position to defeat liberal Attorney General Martha Coakley for the U.S. Senate and stop the socialist health care plan. Brown is not alone. Rand Paul supporters across the Commonwealth are sending contributions and making phone calls, while former Massachusetts Democrat Trey Grayson remains silent.
Today is the first day on the path to victory for Scott Brown, and also for Rand Paul and Conservatives across Kentucky and the Conservative revolution across our nation.

New Poll Shows Rand Paul Leading Democrats
We already knew Rand Paul was leading one former Democrat (Trey Grayson) by double digits, but a new Rasmussen poll shows Rand Paul way in front of Daniel Mongiardo and Jack Conway.
Paul leads Mongiardo 49-35 percent and leads Conway 45-35 percent!
With polls like this showing Rand Paul as a strong general election candidate, look for more endorsements from national Conservatives coming in the next few weeks. Conservative leaders like Jim DeMint and groups such as the Club for Growth are waiting to see if Trey Grayson can keep up with Rand Paul when the fundraising numbers come out this week, and we have a feeling fundraising for the former Democrat Grayson do not look too good...

Gun Owners Group Endorses Rand Paul
In another sign that Dr. Rand Paul is pulling away from the field in the Kentucky Republican primary, the Gun Owners of America was not fooled by former Democrat Trey Grayson and endorsed Dr. Paul for the U.S. Senate. The AP reports:
A pro-gun rights organization has endorsed Rand Paul in Kentucky's U.S. Senate race.
Gun Owners of America announced the endorsement on Wednesday.
Vice Chairman Tim Macy said Paul's "commitment to the right to keep and bear arms is unwavering."

Big Day In the Commonwealth
Rand Paul officially filed to run for the U.S. Senate as he has stormed to a huge fundraising and polling lead. The AP reported on the filing:
But the real story is the groundswell of grassroots Conservative activists who are flocking the campaign. WHAS reports that former Democrat Trey Grayson is too scared to even take questions about the race:
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's son has officially entered the GOP Senate primary in Kentucky.
Rand Paul's campaign manager turned in the candidacy papers and a $500 check to the secretary of state's office on Wednesday afternoon.
Rand Paul, a Kentucky eye surgeon, has raised more than $1.7 million for his campaign largely by reaching out to people who had supported his father's unsuccessful presidential bid.
But the real story is the groundswell of grassroots Conservative activists who are flocking the campaign. WHAS reports that former Democrat Trey Grayson is too scared to even take questions about the race:
U.S. Senate candidate Trey Grayson said he's not worried about the race or fundraising between he and Rand Paul.
To date, Paul has raised $1.7 million.
Grayson, the current Secretary of State for Kentucky, said he won't release fundraising numbers until the end of January, adding that his campaign has the funding to win the race.
A poll from Public Policy shows Paul with a 19-point lead in the primary race. However, Grayson disputes those numbers, claiming that most polls show the race as a dead heat.

Rand Paul Takes A Huge Lead In New Poll
The local and national media are really taking notice of Dr. Rand Paul now, as he has a huge lead in the new independent PPP poll. Congressional Quarterly:
Eye Surgeon Rand Paul holds a whopping 19-point lead over Secretary of State Trey Grayson in Kentucky's Senate GOP primary, according to a new survey from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling that was in the field Dec. 18 to 21.
Paul, the son of Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), lead Grayson 44 percent to 25 percent according to the survey of 478 likely Republican primary voters. The poll had a 4.5 point margin of error.

With Trey Grayson Flying To Wall St, Should There Be Another Rand Paul Moneybomb?
Last quarter, Trey Grayson flew to Washington for a fundraiser with pro-Wall St. bailout Senators and lobbyists.
But then the Conservative grassroots raised more money online that day than all the Wall Street insiders combined.
Now, the Washington Post reports Grayson is heading back to New York City for another fundraiser. How well we he do with his Wall Street friends that helped him work on Bill Clinton's Presidential campaign? Will he get outraised on the same day again?
Maybe its time for 2 moneybombs in December to help Rand Paul finish off this RINO once and for all!

From Bill Clinton to Club for Growth: Trey Grayson's Strange Journey
Over the past two months, Trey Grayson has become the laughingstock of Kentucky. First, he flew to Washington, D.C. to do a fundraiser with the pro-Wall Street Bailout Establishment, that he thought would push Dr. Rand Paul out of the race. Now, after Rand Paul destroyed Grayson in fundraising and has passed him in the polls, "Turncoat" Trey Grayson is claiming to be a member of the Club for Growth!
Politico has a front page story today talking about Rand Paul's leadership in Kentucky Taxpayers United:
Has anyone seen Grayson at a Kentucky Taxpayers United meeting? The RINO has been to more Democratic Party meetings than he has Taxpayers United! And yet Trey is trying to trick Commonwealth voters into thinking he is a member of the Club for Growth:
Show your credentials, Trey. Because we all know you are trying to trick Kentucky voters again.
Question: How long has Trey been a member of the Club for Growth?
Question: Can Grayson produce credentials to prove he is a member?
Question: Was Trey a Club for Growth member when he campaigned for Bill Clinton?
Politico has a front page story today talking about Rand Paul's leadership in Kentucky Taxpayers United:
Paul, who has been active in Kentucky Taxpayers United, a local fiscal conservative group, said, “We hope we hit a chord” with Club for Growth officials. “I feel we represent the conservative alternative in our primary,” he said, adding that his chief opponent, Trey Grayson, was feted at an NRSC fundraiser in September.

Grayson has been a member of Club for Growth, Hodson said
Show your credentials, Trey. Because we all know you are trying to trick Kentucky voters again.

Scared RINO Trey Grayson Attacks Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul as McConnell Abandons Grayson
Trey Grayson was singing Mitch McConnell's praises when Senator McConnell and pro-bailout establishment insiders helped the RINO Grayson raise money. Now that McConnell is meeting with Rand Paul, the Wall Street Journal reports that the former Bill Clinton-supporter Grayson has turned to criticizing McConnell. Maybe its because of Trey's pathetic fundraising numbers, his losing poll numbers, or all the great local and national press Rand Paul is getting, like this Wall Street Journal profile:
The Kentucky race is featured in a Wall Street Journal story today looking at efforts by underdog Republicans to catch the wave of anti-establishment fervor in their party..
Washington Wire: What should happen in Afghanistan?
Paul: I support a declaration of war in Afghanistan. We have to now determine what our mission is. It’s become somewhat murky.
Washington Wire: Do you consider yourself a libertarian?
Paul: I call myself a constitutional conservative. I see myself as sort of, part of this insurgency that’s out there, the way [former Florida state legislator Marco] Rubio is a conservative and fighting against an established moderate like [Gov. Charlie] Crist. Our race in Kentucky is going to shape up to be very similar.

Wall Street Journal: Trey Grayson Criticizing Mitch McConnell Ahead of McConnell's Meeting With Rand Paul
With Trey Grayson's campaign imploding in every aspect and both the local and national media focused on his collapse, Senator Mitch McConnell is meeting with the rising Rand Paul. While it appears that Mitch McConnell is no longer supporting the RINO Trey Grayson, the Wall Street Journal reports Grayson is criticizing Mitch McConnell in some desperate attempt to stay relevant:
In Kentucky, Rand Paul, the son of 2008 presidential candidate Ron Paul, is ahead in fund raising. He is competing with a candidate backed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, also of Kentucky. The candidate, Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson, has now taken to criticizing some of Mr. McConnell's views.
